We are always looking for
volunteers!
The best way to make the
most of your membership is to become involved. If you are a first time
volunteer, the Membership Committee is the training ground for future service in
other committees. If you are interested in participating on the Membership
Committee, which forms each fall for service January-April,
please e-mail the membership department by clicking here,
or download and complete the form below and return it to the AAA office.
Thank you for volunteering your time to the Atlanta Apartment Association!

Here is a list of our
other committees: (involvement on these committees requires
previous service on the membership committee)
Community Service Committee:
The
Community Service Committee is the driving force behind our hugely successful
Food-A-Thon, benefiting the Atlanta Community Food Bank. The Committee meets
year round.
Golf
Classic Committee:
The Golf
Classic Committee is responsible for organizing the Association's annual golf
tournament, which is our largest PAC fundraiser. The Committee meets between
December and May.
Governmental
Affairs Committee (GAC):
The GAC
is charged with helping our legislative staff identify legislation that could
adversely affect the multifamily housing industry. The committee is also
instrumental in helping to organize our Grassroots Army of volunteers and
responding to issues that require a letter writing campaign. The Committee meets
year round.
Membership
Committee:
With over 100 members, the Membership Committee is by far the largest of all. An
Association's lifeblood is in it's members, and recruitment of new members is
tantamount in building an association. Equally important is membership
retention, and the committee is responsible for helping our members realize the
value of their membership. The Committee meets for 1/2 of the year.
Tennis
Tournament Committee:
The
Tennis Committee is responsible for the Association's annual tennis tourney that
is our second largest PAC fundraiser. The Committee is responsible for coming up
with new ideas to raise additional funds, and to encourage sponsor & player
involvement. The Committee meets between June and November.
Trade
Show Committee:
The Trade
Show Committee helps organize one of the multihousing industry's largest
trade shows. The Committee is responsible for selling booth space, encouraging
attendance and for coming up with a theme for the show. The Committee meets year
round.
